Why families choose Accucare at home

Care that fits your kitchen — not a corporate template.

In-home support goes wrong when it feels clinical, rushed or run by strangers. Ours doesn't. We build tight little teams around each participant so shifts feel like a friend dropping in — one who happens to be brilliantly trained.

Your home, your rules
Shoes off? Cat on the couch? Nan's china untouched? Noted, respected, non-negotiable.
The same faces
A small, consistent team who know your routines, your tea order and your dog's name.
Fully screened & trained
NDIS Worker Screening, First Aid, Manual Handling and Medication Assist — refreshed annually.
Flexible hours
30-minute check-ins to 24/7 supports. Weekends, public holidays, early mornings — sorted.
Six ways we help around the house

Everyday stuff. Done properly.

Mix and match to build a week that actually works — from a 30-minute morning routine to full 24/7 supports.

Personal care

Showering, dressing, grooming and morning routines — handled with dignity, at your pace.

Meal prep & nutrition

Weekly cook-ups, cultural favourites and dietician-friendly plates — food you actually want to eat.

Medication support

Prompts, Webster-pak checks and coordination with your GP or pharmacist. No missed doses.

Domestic assistance

Cleaning, laundry, dishes, changing sheets — the invisible work of a home, done together.

Appointments & admin

GP visits, allied health, banking, mail — we drive, take notes and follow up with the team.

Overnight & active night

Sleepover or active-night supports for peace of mind through every hour of the clock.

The shape of our home supports

Skilled hands. Familiar faces. Real hours.

Whether you need a quick morning shower support or 24/7 complex care, we back it with trained workers, clinical oversight and a rhythm that respects your home.

How we start

From first call to first shift — usually inside two weeks.

01
Kitchen-table chat

We visit you at home (or on Zoom in your PJs). No jargon, no clipboards — just a real conversation.

02
Support plan built with you

We map your week, your routines, your must-haves and your absolute nope-nots.

03
Meet your team

You interview the workers we suggest. Chemistry check first, shifts second.

04
Settle in & refine

First fortnight is a proper trial — we tweak times, tasks and pairings until it feels right.

Is in-home care the right fit?

Home Care fits when you want to stay put — and thrive there.

If any of these sound familiar, let's have a chat about what a week with Accucare could look like.

Chat with our team
  • Mornings or evenings are the hardest — showers, meds, meals feel like a mountain.
  • You want the same small team every week, not a new agency worker each shift.
  • Family carers are stretched and need consistent, trusted backup.
  • You need High Intensity supports (PEG, catheter, complex bowel, seizure) at home.
  • You'd like your NDIS supports coordinated — home, community and appointments in one plan.
  • You want short 30-minute check-ins, not forced two-hour minimums.

In-Home Care FAQs

Eligibility, referrals, timelines and what happens next — answered.

Who's eligible for in-home supports?+

NDIS participants with Core Supports for Assistance with Daily Life. We support personal care, domestic help, meals, medication prompts and overnight care.

How do I make a referral?+

Call, email or fill in the enquiry form. Coordinators and families welcome — we return every enquiry within one business day.

How soon can supports begin?+

Standard onboarding is 5–10 business days from enquiry — including meet-and-greet, roster build and worker matching. Priority starts available.

What happens after I enquire?+

1) Discovery call. 2) In-home visit to scope routines. 3) Worker match and intro. 4) First shift. 5) 30-day check-in to fine-tune the roster.

Can I keep the same workers each week?+

Yes — consistency is the whole point. We build a small pod of 2–4 workers who rotate so you always have familiar faces, even on leave weeks.

What if I need to change my roster?+

Text us. Rosters flex week-to-week — we'll confirm changes within a few hours during business time.
