NDIS Day Programs

Weekdays worth waking up for.

Our Day Programs are more than "somewhere to go." They're where new hobbies land, real friendships spark, and every activity ladders up to a goal in your plan.

Why our day programs are different

Not a drop-in. A day designed around you.

Most "day options" try to keep everyone busy. We try to help every participant grow. Before your first day, we sit down with you (and the people who know you best) to map what a great week actually looks like — the skills, the friendships, the little wins.

Personality-matched groups
We cluster small groups on interests and vibe — not just postcode.
Real community, not fluoro halls
Studios, cafés, gardens, gyms and galleries — the world is our venue.
Rotating themes
Weekly themes keep things fresh, so nobody hits Groundhog Day.
5:1 support ratio
Enough hands to be safe, small enough to be seen.
Six streams. One brilliant week.

Pick the days that light you up.

Mix and match streams to build your ideal week. Try a taster, swap when you feel like it, and grow at your own pace.

Create & Express

Painting, pottery, music, photography and digital art — led by working artists who meet you at your level.

Cook & Nourish

Weekly cook-ups where participants plan the menu, shop the aisles and share the table. Life skills, deliciously.

Move & Thrive

Adaptive fitness, dance, swimming and bushwalks — because bodies feel better when they move together.

Explore & Adventure

Beach days, museum trips, footy games, scenic drives. Community access that actually feels like community.

Connect & Belong

Small groups, big friendships. Board game arvos, movie clubs, karaoke and coffee catch-ups.

Grow & Learn

Gardening, sustainability, money smarts, tech help and personal admin — practical skills for a bigger life.

A week at Accucare

A rhythm that flexes with real life.

Here's a sample week — swap, skip or double up on any day. Your plan, your pace.

Mon
Studio day
Art, music & mindfulness in our creative studio.
Tue
Kitchen crew
Menu planning, shopping and a group cook-up.
Wed
Move it
Adaptive fitness, swim session or bushwalk.
Thu

Community outings — beach, café, museum, market.
Fri
Feel-good Friday
Games, karaoke, movies & pizza to finish the week.
Outcomes, not busywork

Every activity ladders to a goal in your plan.

We track progress through your voice, not paperwork. Confidence in the kitchen. A new friend at footy. Catching the bus solo. That's the scoreboard.

Day Programs — the details

Eligibility, referrals, timelines and what happens next — answered.

Who can join a Day Program?+

Any NDIS participant with Core Supports or Capacity Building funding for community or group activities. Ages 18+, all abilities welcome.

How do I get referred?+

Enquire online, call 1300 ACCUCARE, or have your Support Coordinator send your plan through. We'll book a taster day within the week.

How long before I start attending?+

Most participants join within 7–14 days of enquiry — a taster day first, then a regular weekly rhythm you choose.

What happens on day one?+

You'll be greeted by a familiar face, tour the hub, meet the crew, jump into an activity that matches your interests, and head home with a photo recap for your family.

Is transport included?+

Yes — pickup and drop-off across our service areas can be billed from your Core transport supports. We'll confirm what your plan covers before you start.

Can I switch activities week to week?+

Absolutely. The weekly rhythm is a menu, not a contract. Tell us what you want more of — we'll build it in.
